Double room Cotham/Redland

Hello!

We are looking to find a replacement for our housemate who is moving out 1st December for our fun and lovely 3 bedroom maisonette.

We both roughly work mon-fri 9-5, 25y/o and 27 y/o. Looking for somebody fun, sociable, easy going. We both enjoy going out on weekends, wouldn’t say were crazy but at the same time wouldn’t want someone who would get cross with friends visiting, the odd party and late night noise on a weekend. We are both good mates so would be cool if you wanted to get involved too, the house would probably suit another guy but a fun girl would be good too.

The room is £315 pcm, I would describe as a spacious double, comes with basic furnishings (double bed, wardrobe, draws, bedside table etc.). If you have your own stuff that shouldn’t be a problem as there is some storage in the house. There are two bathrooms/toilets, one large and one small, a medium size kitchen, large lounge. The house is on Waverly Road, a mix of young professionals, students and family homes, 5 mins walk to Cotham, 10 mins walk to Gloucester road/Stokes Croft, 20/25 min walk to town. If I am honest the house is slightly dated/shabby in places but I feel it gives it character and for the size and location is a real bargain.

We all currently pay £150 to a joint account which includes all bills/council tax, high speed Wifi, TV (all sky channels and Netflix) and a fortnightly cleaner. This also includes all of our food shopping as we share the cooking/cleaning each night. We’re not religious about this, whenever and whoever really, it’s just nice to be able to help yourself to whatever is in the fridge. We would like to keep things the way they are but if you want to do your own thing for food that’s fine too, the monthly cost to the joint account would obviously drop.
