Double in Knowle (Mon to Fri only)

One double bedroom available within two-bed terrace, all decorated with kitchen and bathroom refitted and all mod cons. The house also has a garden with table and chairs. You’d be sharing with me, the owner. I'm used to sharing with lodgers and I’m friendly and sociable. I know it is important for Mon - Fri lodgers that they can settle in quickly and without fuss. My motivation for sharing is to get help with the mortgage, but I work from home, so it's nice to have someone else about.

The room in question is at the back of the house. It is a double room with a double bed and large double wardrobe with shelves and a desk.

This is a great house, situated about 2 minutes walk from Broadwalk shops and local amenities – library, swimming pool with gym, shops, new gym, etc. It is about 40 minutes walk to the centre, and 15 minutes walk to Temple Meads. Bath Road is less than 10 minutes walk. It is on a main bus route into the Centre with regular buses.

I’m looking for a professional, male or female, who is reliable, friendly, sociable, tidy and easy going. I work from home, so if you’re wanting to play loud music during daytime weekdays, we may be incompatible. I have had various lodgers though and we normally get along fine.

There is plenty of cutlery and crockery, matching bedding and towels, if you want to use it.

The rent is £450 per month by Direct Debit, including bills - water, gas, electricity, cable TV, broadband and landline with moveable phone and you would require a reference and one month's rent for a deposit. I have not included Council tax, as a Mon – Fri renter is likely to be already paying for council tax at their main residence. We can discuss this if it is not the case in your instance. You would also need to pay for your itemised calls.
