The room has recently been refurbished to an extremely high standard with huge en-suite bathroom, consisting of large walk-in shower, loo and wash-basin. The room has a king-size bed, and single bed, clothes storage facilities, tea and coffee making equipment and smart tv.
Room 2 is a king-size room with en-suite consisting of shower, loo and washbasin. This room has also been refurbished to a high standard and has smart tv, clothes storage facilities, tea and coffee making equipment.,
The house has good broadband connection and hot water is available 24/7.
The property is fitted with industry-standard fire alarm system with smoke and heat detectors in every room and hi-speed broadband. Smoking is strictly prohibited although this is allowed in the garden.
Two other lodgers currently share use of kitchen, dining room and cosy lounge with log burner. Kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, double oven, dishwasher and microwave with use of crockery, cutlery etc..
All bills included, with exception of shared council tax where relevant (approx £12 per calendar month) and rooms cleaned and beds changed monthly. All bed linen is included. Additional off-site laundry service can be provided on request for small additional charge.
The elegant Victorian property is situated within a few minutes walking distance of Corkickle train station, in conservation area close to bus stops and approximately 8 minutes walk to shops, town and harbour. Being on the south side of the town, away from the town centre, it is ideal for commute to the hospital, West Lakes and Sellafield. Off street parking is available.
Respectful, clean and tidy, single, working professional people are requested. No couples. Require lodger to be in full-time employment working normal hours and not students, home-workers or shift workers due to disruption to any others in the house.. Preference given to renters looking for Monday-Friday only let.
Additionally regret that due to several exterior steps and high staircase, the property is not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
Landlord lives in, on separate floor in on-site apartment, and owns two friendly small/medium size dogs so potential lodgers must be animal lovers and be comfortable with dogs.
