Attached are pictures from the estate-agents listing, the furniture will be different as those were taken before purchase and will update these soon as I will be moving in next week but you will get a good idea of the property and there is lots and lots of shared living areas so you won't be stuck in just a bedroom and want to create a really friendly household
There are 3 different double rooms all with their own benefits, if you would like a specific one, or just to view the house as a whole, just send a message! There is also the smaller study room available to rent as an extra - perfect for a home office (See pic with desk and, chair and monitor)
Rooms: All bills included, including Council Tax! £650 pcm
Room 1- Attic room double, (See pic with Chinese screens and white rug on the floor). This is on a seperate floor to all other tenants. This will a gas lift double bed easy access for storage use, great view of garden and for a more private feel!
TAKEN Room 2- 1st floor room double, (See pic of doble bed with blue duvet and mermaid print and flowery curtains), 2 alcoves perfect for storage, view onto street with double-glazed window, same floor as bathroom.
TAKEN Room 3: Lower ground floor room double, (see pic with desk at the end under the window and large cream) If it’s space you are looking for then this is the largest double in the house, there is also a WC on this floor see pic with hand basin and WC) and there is a large living room next door (see pic of childrens playroom)
The house is a Victorian terrace with lots of original features and character. Communal areas include a living room, dining room, large kitchen, big bathroom with bath and shower and storage, and a WC on the lower ground floor. (see pics). There is also another large living room in the lower ground floor, with sofa's/chairs etc. There is a walk in pantry also to help with food storage, and a nice garden outside with astro-turf and patio. The house is right next to Victoria Park, with pubs and shops and eateries right on the other side of the road. Swinton train station is a 10-minute walk away (which is an 18 min journey directly to MCR centre). Plenty of parking on nearby side-streets and bus stops within a 30 second walk from the front door.
Me: I am 22, and work as a residential care-worker for children with learning disabilities and also nanny (out of the house). I love chilling in front of the telly, going for long walks, baking and cooking and like being sociable- more a pub/home drinks then out out kinda girl. Love games and will hopefully be doing my PhD next year. I will be living in the house so please don't see me as a live-in landlord though, not a Tory I swear!
Looking for: Housemates, preferably not students, aged 21-32. Queer-friendly essential!
